Prayer Requests for October 5

Dear friends--I am posting these prayer requests as I sit in my mother's Hospice Room listening to the death rattle grow by the hour despite her steadfast refusal to leave this world behind--while I will never know why this was so difficult for her (and this morning I suggested to her that showing up in God's house and demanding to know some answers was in order), I know that I would have never made it through these days without your love and concern.  I will always remember the love and concern that my friends have shown to me in these dark days.  Please continue to pray that mother will be able to stop her struggle and lie peacefully in the arms of Jesus.  I love you all.  Carol
